Comparison of Transmitted Wavefront Measurements Using Phase Retrieval and Shack-Hartmann Wavefront Sensing

Abstract

Measurements of the transmitted wavefront of a precision lens were made using phase retrieval and Shack-Hartmann sensing. The measurements were performed on-axis at the mercury g-, h-, and i-lines. The measurements agree to nearly λ/100 RMS.
