Challenges with interferometric non-null measurements

Abstract

Typically interferometers are used in a null configuration where the reference and test wavefronts are nearly identical. Non-null testing, however, can enable aspheric measurements without dedicated correctors. We demonstrate challenges encountered with interferometric non-null measurements.
