Abstract

The curing of a fluid sample of optical adhesive has been monitored interferometrically during UV exposure. In that way the changes of surface shape and thickness are being measured in process, enabling analysis of the hardening process. Experiments are being reported, comparing interval exposure to continuous exposure. The effects observed in situ show that interval exposure introduces less stress than continuous exposure, making the former preferable to the latter.
