Strain and temperature discrimination in operando Li-ion polymer batteries

Abstract

A network of FBGs was used to monitor temperature and strain variations in LiB in parallel and perpendicular directions. Higher strain variations of (287.35 ± 0.01) µε were obtained by the sensors placed on parallel.
