Label-free distributed hydrogen sensing with stimulated Raman scattering in hollow-core fibers

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We present the first experimental demonstration of distributed hydrogen sensing using stimulated Raman scattering in gas-filled hollow-core photonic crystal fibers. The system performances in terms of sensitivity, selectivity, dynamic range and sensing distance are discussed.
