Abstract

A 175km repeaterless BOTDA with uncertainty of ±2.06MHz and spatial resolution of 8m is demonstrated based on hybrid 2nd- and 3rd-order Raman random fiber laser amplification, which is the longest repeaterless BOTDA reported so far.
