Inline Power Sensor in Multimode Fiber Based on High-intensity Femtosecond Laser Writing

Abstract

We fabricated an inline power sensor by introducing optical taps in a multimode fiber. The optical tap was processed by femtosecond laser single/multi-times writing. The achieved tap ratios were 0.7% and 3.3%, respectively.
