Abstract

A new fiber optic sensor with carbon dots/cellulose acetate (CA) sensitive membrane was developed for ferric ion detection. The linear calibration was obtained in the range from 0.1mM to 0.8mM with a detection limit of 0.1mM (S/N=3).
