Highly sensitive Temperature Sensor of Fiber Bragg Grating on PbS-doped Silica Optical Fiber

Abstract

We developed a highly sensitive fiber Bragg grating (FBG) temperature sensor using the PbS-doped silica fiber. Temperature sensitivity of the PbS-FBG was improved to ~0.016 nm/°C within the temperature range of 20 °C to 150 °C.
