Abstract

Scientific microsatellite “REIMEI” was launched on August 2005. This satellite achieved attitude determination and control with accuracy of about 0.05 [deg], although it weights only 70 kg in total. Small Fiber optic gyro sensors were applied and contributed this weight efficiency. This paper describes the effect of temperature control of these FOGs, and the results of in-orbit gyro performance evaluation.
