Microoptodes for Ammonia Sensing in the ppb-Range

Abstract

Microoptodes to determine ammonia in the ppb-range by utilization of polymer coatings blended with a fluorescent pH-indicator and a crown ether were developed. They can be applied in gas and in aqueous environments.
