Abstract

Over the past decade, Raman spectroscopy has been increasingly used in remote process-control, biomedical, and environmental applications. 1,2 This has occurred in large part because of innovations in instrumentation and the development of fiber probes that permit physical measurements to be obtained from remote sites.
