Mode-locked All-Fiber Laser with a Piezoelectric Copolymer Jacketed Fiber for Phase Modulation

Abstract

We describe a mode-locked all-fiber laser operating at 1.06μm with a piezoelectric copolymer jacketed fiber phase modulator. Mode-locked pulses at a repetition rate of 98.12MHz and a pulse width of 2.2ns (FWHM) have been obtained.
