Methods to improve dynamic range and sensitivity in phase-modulating optical coherence domain reflectometry

Abstract

Novel methods to widen dynamic range and to improve sensitivity of a phase-modulating optical coherence domain reflectometry are proposed, and experimentally demonstrated. This method can be used for diagnosing optical waveguide devices with high spatial resolution.
