Abstract

The tandem operation of a Mach-Zehnder and polarimetric interferometer is demonstrated. The tandem interferometer is powered by a superluminescent diode light source and demodulated passively utilizing polarimetric techniques. Applications for remote sensing and coherence multiplexing are discussed.
