Abstract

In recent research on fiber optic sensors, one particular area of interest has been arrays of interferometric sensors placed at locations distant from the signal processing site. There have been a number of approaches to the multiplexing of such arrays1,2,3, but all have been limited in sensitivity by the effects of laser phase-induced intensity noise4 .
