Demonstration of a Tunable, Broadband Pixel-Array-based Photonic-Integrated-Circuit Receiver for Recovering Two 100-Gbit/s QPSK Orbital-Angular-Momentum Multiplexed Channels

Abstract

We demonstrate recovering two 100-Gbit/s QPSK OAM-multiplexed channels by using a pixel-array-based integrated receiver. It can be tuned to receive OAM = +1 or = –1 with a ~6-nm bandwidth for achieving BER under 7% FEC limit.
