Gain Ripple and Passband Narrowing due to Residual Chromatic Dispersion in Non-Degenerate Phase-Sensitive Amplifiers

Abstract

We theoretically show dispersion dependence of gain spectrum in non-degenerate PSA under phase locking, and experimentally demonstrate WDM amplification of PS-64QAM signal using PPLN-based PSA with gain-flattened spectrum by estimation and compensation of chromatic dispersion.
