200 Gbit/s (68.25 Gbaud) PAM8 Signal Transmission and Reception for Intra-Data Center Interconnect

Abstract

In this paper, single carrier, single polarization 200 Gbit/s signal transmission for intra-DCI is demonstrated. Enabling by pre-equalization, adaptive-notch-filter and look-up-table, the BER of 68.25 Gbaud PAM8 signal is below 2.7×10−2 after 1-km SMF transmission.
