Survivable VNF Placement and Scheduling with Multipath Protection in Elastic Optical Datacenter Networks

Abstract

We propose a multipath protection-based virtual network function placement and scheduling scheme in elastic optical datacenter networks. It outperforms conventional protection methods in terms of spectrum and computing resource utilization as well as blocking probability.
