Towards Low Carrier-to-Signal Power Ratio for Kramers-Kronig Receiver

Abstract

We propose a novel scheme to relax the requirement of high carrier-to-signal power ratio for Kramers-Kronig receiver. By adopting low carrier-to-signal power ratios, we obtain optical signal-to-noise ratio improvement of up to 1.9 dB.
