Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate 100Gb/s/λ IM/DD transmission over 25km SSMF using 20G-class DML and PIN enabled by convolutional neural network based equalization technique. Transmission performance in C-band and O-band using PAM-8 and PAM-16 are compared.
