A Compact 212.5-Gbit/s Transmitter Optical Sub-Assembly with DMLs and Quad Linear Driver

Abstract

We present a compact 212.5-Gbit/s transmitter optical sub-assembly equipped with directly modulated lasers and quad 53.125-Gbit/s linear driver. We demonstrate high-quality and high-output-power operation with low-power consumption (1.01 W), which is desirable for 200GBASE-LR4 application.
