Bandwidth tunable filter with large bandwidth and wavelength tuning range

Abstract

We demonstrate a silicon-multiple-microring-based Vernier optical filter with both large bandwidth and wavelength tuning range. The bandwidth can be tuned from 0.3 nm to 1.2 nm. The wavelength tuning range can cover C-band.
