Abstract

We demonstrate 10G-class optics based 25-Gb/s upstream burst-mode transmission using adaptive equalization for ISI compensation. −23 dBm sensitivity at FEC limit of 1×10−3 is achieved, where tap adaption can be realized within 400 training bits.
