Demonstration of 64x0.5Gbaud Nonlinear Frequency Division Multiplexed Transmission with 32QAM

Abstract

Record data rate of 32Gb/s for NFDM transmissions is experimentally demonstrated using 64 overlapping orthogonal 0.5Gbaud channels with 32QAM format, showing a record performance gain of 1.3dB in comparison with conventional system over 1464km.
