4.05-Gb/s RGB LED-based VLC System Utilizing PS-Manchester Coded Nyquist PAM-8 Modulation and Hybrid Time-frequency Domain Equalization

Abstract

A novel PS-Manchester coded Nyquist PAM-8 modulation with hybrid time-frequency domain equalization scheme is proposed and experimentally demonstrated in a RGB LED-based VLC system. An aggregate data rate of 4.05-Gb/s is successfully achieved.
