Tapless Locking of Silicon Ring Modulators for WDM Applications

Abstract

Novel method for tapless locking of silicon ring modulators for WDM applications is discussed. Wavelength locking with an athermal operation over the temperature variations of 6°C is demonstrated at a data rate of 10 Gbit/s.
