Experimental Beam Displacement Tracking and Correction of Data-Carrying Orbital-Angular-Momentum Beams in a Free-Space Optical Link

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate beam displacement tracking and correction using orbital-angular-momentum (OAM) beams based position detection over a 400-Gbit/s OAM-multiplexed link. Power penalties <3 dB are achieved with the displacement up to ±10 mm.
