Over 40 Gb/s Dynamic Bidirectional All-optical Indoor Wireless Communication Using Photonic Integrated Circuits

Abstract

We demonstrate a novel all-optical system using optical cross-connect and reflective modulator photonic chips to realize bidirectional dynamic indoor wireless networks equipped with localization and tracking functionalities, with over 40 Gb/s data capacity per user.
