800 Gbit/s Dual Channel Transmitter with 1.056 Tbit/s Gross Rate

Abstract

We demonstrate generation of a 44 Gbaud 64 QAM dual polarization dual channel signal from one laser achieving a gross rate of 1.056 Tbit/s. Fiber transmission reach of 730 km over SSMF is also demonstrated.
