Abstract

Phase estimation and 4×2 MIMO equalization techniques are experimentally compared for digital frequency stitching in ultra-wideband coherent reception, using time multiplexing and a single conventional dual polarization coherent receiver, to simultaneously detect a 5×46GBaud super-channel.
