Abstract

A self-calibrated method based on the frequency-shifted heterodyne scheme is proposed and demonstrated for independent frequency response measurement of high-speed Mach-Zehnder modulators (MZMs), phase modulators (PMs) and photodetectors (PDs) with the same setup.
