A 295 mW Output, HCN Frequency-Stabilized CW Erbium Silica Fiber Laser with a Linewidth of 5 kHz and a RIN of -120 dB/Hz

Abstract

We demonstrate a 295 mW output, HCN frequency-stabilized CW erbium silica-fiber laser. The frequency stability reached 1.0×10−11 for τ=100 s. Furthermore, a linewidth of 5 kHz and a RIN of −120 dB/Hz were simultaneously achieved.
