Analysis and Optimization of Graphene Based Waveguide Polarizers

Abstract

Although experimentally demonstrated, graphene-based waveguide polarizers are still poorly understood. Here, simulations show to be incorrect previous assumptions that their working mechanism is related plasmon excitation and that polarization switching is possible via bias tuning.
