Separately controlled, cascaded microwave photonic bandpass filter and phase shifter

Abstract

We propose a novel system for executing separately controlled, cascaded optical signal processing functions of a single passband microwave photonic filter with RF phase control of 0-240 degrees and less than ±3dB filter shape variance.
