Abstract

We experimentally evaluated the crosstalk impacts of cascaded ROADMs for SDM networks. Crosstalk induced Q penalties in 128 Gb/s transmission were compared for interleaved and grouped configurations, with 1-1.5 dB improvement for the interleaved setup.
