Abstract

We present a miniaturized heterodyne optical channel monitor with 300 MHz frequency resolution, 0.5 GHz absolute frequency accuracy and tone detection ability. The compact optical package size of 19x27x7mm makes it suitable for integration into next-generation ROADMs.
