Abstract

We study the non-reciprocal saturated parametric amplifier response dependence on the pump wavelength. The available pump depletion bandwidth and signal induced pump depletion level were characterized and the optimum pump wavelength and propagation direction was identified, with the non-reciprocal behavior having been clearly observed at all of the tried pump wavelengths.
