Experimental demonstration of centralized control mechanism over all-optical network based on OpenFlow protocol

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a centralized control mechanism to control multiple optical network elements by a single OpenFlow controller. We also extend the OpenFlow protocol to support network functionality in optical transport network.
