Automatic ONU Wavelength Control in TWDM PONs

Abstract

Low cost and effective approaches for automatic ONU wavelength control in TWDM PONs are proposed by using low-power and low-frequency/low-data-rate signal from the tunable ONU transmitter. Experimental results validate the proposed approaches.
