First Demonstration of Hitless Wavelength Selective Switch Based on Quadruple Series Coupled Multiple Quantum Well Microring Resonator

Abstract

A hitless wavelength-selective switch using InGaAs multiple quantum well quadruple series-coupled microring resonators is first demonstrated for high-speed and low-voltage operation. The influence of change in coupling efficiency at coupling regions is also discussed.
