Abstract

10-Gb/s operation of a network-embedded self-tuning transmitter exploiting a high-PDG RSOA in a polarization preserving configuration based on two-Faraday rotators, is demonstrated bridging up to 52 km of NZD fibre. The dispersive load tolerance is finally analysed.
