Spectral Management in Flexible Multiwavelength PONs

Abstract

In this paper we address scenarios of coexistence between NGPON2 and legacy technologies. Different PON dimensioning paths to be potentially followed are presented based on the enabled wavelength flexibility brought in by NGPON2.
