Abstract

A 70-km-reach bi-directional WDM-PON with 10-Gb/s downstream Manchesterduobinary signal and 1.25-Gb/s upstream re-modulated NRZ-OOK signals is demonstrated, with effective mitigation of Rayleigh backscattered noise.
