Short-Pulse Amplification in a Phase-Sensitive Amplifier

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate amplification of picosecond pulses in a PSA, discuss the tolerance on residual delay and dispersion on the signal and idler, and also show the first demonstration of pulse compression in a PSA.
