Abstract

Application of digital-delay detection to considerably higher-order coherent multilevel signaling is verified by 100-Gbit/s PM-32QAM and 80-Gbit/s PM-16PSK transmission experiments with low implementation penalty, and their laser linewidth and IF-frequency offset tolerance is also shown.
