Polarization Demultiplexing Using Linearly-Estimated Channel Matrix in PDM Systems with MIMO Processing

Abstract

We propose a polarization demultiplexing using linearly-estimated channel matrix for faster polarization tracking. Through experiments, we confirm that the proposed method can enhance tolerance of SOP change compared with demultiplexing using an identical channel matrix.
