A centralized optical monitoring for high capacity TDM-PON based on optical frequency-hopping/periodic code

Abstract

A coding scheme of two-dimensional frequency-hopping/periodic code for optical centralized monitoring in high capacity TDM-PON is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The results show it achieves large code cardinality and small correlation distance.
