Noise Suppression for Fiber Radio Transmission on Spectrum-Sliced WDM-PONs Employing Interferometric Structures

Abstract

We propose a novel noise-suppression scheme in spectrum-sliced WDM-PONs. Experimentally, low-noise windows can be created in which the noise is reduced by more than 20dB and the performance of vector signal transmission is significantly improved.
